Who we Support
Our concerts always support someone. It is part of our Community nature that each event is a way that we can give back to those around us. Organisations that we have supported include
The Matthew Hackney Foundation - at our recent Jubilee Jazz Concert we raised money through selling refreshments which we will be giving to The Matthew Hackney Foundation on 4th October at our rehearsal.
TALK Surrey - a charity supporting people with Aphasia following a stroke by funding the provision of TALK services across Surrey
Fountain Centre - a charity for cancer patients, their families and carers located in the St Luke's cancer unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. See press story in the Woking News & Mail, the header image above, and a letter from the Fountain Centre
Dennis Ralph Foundation - a charity set up to provide practical, emotional and social support in our community to those who are going through or who are supporting, caring for and loving someone through a serious illness
Byfleet Methodist Church - the Choir made a donation to the hosts for our Christmas Concert 2019.
Each Other! - Most importantly we support each other as friends, members of the choir and the community.
